AMCR-PAS API reference

Documentation of the AMCR-PAS API, through which museum systems and field applications create finds in AMCR-PAS, update their registration numbers and add photographs.

The AMCR-PAS API reference documents the write interface available to external integrators, including museum systems and offline field applications. MUSEION is the reference client.

The section covers vocabulary mapping through the existing OAI-PMH sets, authentication, the XML import contract, registration-number updates, photograph uploads, configurable schema acceptance, rate limits and record locks. cURL and Python examples show authenticated import and update requests.
